Hi all, I have a Commodore PET 2001 series computer. I have been looking up the model number variations to see what i have and i have not found any the same. It looks like the later style 2001 with full keyboard and no data cassette on the front yet no "N" in the model number. Mine is "PET 2001-8 BS", I have read that the -4 or -8 is the ram size and that N is for normal and B is the business, could anyone tell me please what the S stands for ? It has the older model number with the newer design so i am hoping it stands for special edition for business users, can you tell me if you have any information on this please.

Thank you.

According to the "all-knowing Trash Heap" "PET 2001-8 BS" is an old PET with chicklet keyboard and data-recorder. Maybe the "BS" is older than the "N" and "B" naming convention? You should also post the ROM version and/or startup screen text.

Some pictures would be nice: front, type label, board.
