Wow, that's quite a document! Too bad it never went into production; the DMA and video capabilities are impressive. Not to mention a BASIC to use it.
I wanted to report that I've completed all the entries for the statments, commands, functions, and prepositions of BASIC versions 1.0 and 2.0. Also completed are the disk commands from BASIC v3.5 to v7.0. Still missing most of the commands and functions from BASIC v3.5 and v7.0 (mostly the cool sound and graphics). Also missing some boring stuff like reserved variables and operators. Check it out here
That's a lot of material, some of dubious quality, but one thing I'm proud of is the PETSCII table under the CHR$() function
. It is quite different from the one on wikipedia because I wrote it myself from various resources. It is not as pretty, but at least it lists the equivalant ASCII and Unicode values for both lower/upper and upper/graphic character sets, along with common keyboard mappings and descriptions of non-printing characters (editor functions like Home and cursor-right).
I could not find a Unicode equivalant for a few (about 16) characters (I did not search very hard). Maybe they do not exist, but due to the sheer size of Unicode, that is hard to believe. So if anyone knows the correct values, please update the page.
I guess when I finish everything up to v7.0, I can go back and add the v10 keywords. Of course everyone is welcome to beat me to it
