CMD HD & CD/DVD drives

Hi!

I wanted to add CD and DVD drives to my CMD HD by internal SCSI cable...

Devices were found but then not displayed in devices list...

In German manual I found info that standard PC drives works in mode 2048 Bytes/sector and CMD HD can operate only with 512 Bytes/sector.
Also that CD-ROM COMMANDER works only with drives 2048 Bytes/sector...

In my case is German language very very unknown... so, I don't know if I understand correctly.

There was also written about jumpers which can switch 2048B/sec to 512B/sec or vice versa...

Please help me how to add CD & DVD drives to CMD HD....

     To the best of my knowledge, CD-ROM Commander does not support DVDs in DVD drives.

Seriously though, why would you want to add a cd or dvd drive to a c128? Not only can you store more on a uiec/sd, it is faster too.

     Several software compilations from various clubs (and that includes Loadstar) and European groups have been released on CD.

          Not forgetting the GEOS audio CD player which can use the CD drive,
