It's a PC in a C64 case, no more, no less and will have very limited appeal.

All this mob are doing are trying to cash in on the name.

I'm not advocating that real C64's need to be introduced again, just pointing out that despite the "rose coloured glasses" view of a handful of people that this is not a C64, nor are there other proposed products related at all to earlier Commodore machines.

I wonder if that could even sell that in the USA (I mean in the package shown in the photo).  We have federal organization called the FTC that deals with things like deceptive advertising.  In huge letters at the top of the box it reads "Commodore 64" which it is not.  It should say something like "Commodore X64" or whatever they want to call it...
 
I guess they could sell it online as long as the web page made it clear it was not really a C64... but I don't think that package would be acceptable for retail shelves.  A shame because otherwise I think it would look good at a retail store.  Not that I would buy one.
