Not so fast!
« on: March 26, 2011, 01:46 PM »
Is your modern multi-Giga Hertz computer running too fast?  Do you miss the days of waiting?

Well, I found a solution!  Despite dual-core 3+ GHz CPU, I found a great way to slow down your computer.  It is a 3-step process:

  • Download huge file from internet (example: CD-ROM image or a video)
  • Compile a video to CD/DVD format
  • Play another video above two are in progress
If your computer is anything like mine, then the last (#3) video playback will be quite slow... it makes Media Player 128 actually look goood... or this PC look bad... you decide!
I'm kupo for kupo nuts!

You must be using XP.  Vista and Win 7 had their threading completely re-written to better deal with this scenario.
