What part of STOP do you not understand?
« on: March 26, 2011, 11:45 AM »
Surely this is the wrong place to post this comment, but the last time I submitted a comment / suggestion to Microsoft, the response was 'stupid user'... I could go into details, but they aren't worth the effort

So anyway, I am sure most internet users are familiar with 'back', and 'refresh' buttons... also 'home' and 'farvorites' get heavy use by some users...

But this topic is about the 'stop' button... Some web pages fail to render properly in certain browsers or have scripting errors... It is very rare when I need to hit the 'stop' button, but when I do, I (for some silly reason) actually expect the browser to stop...

But not IE... oh no... stop?  what ever could you mean?

I'll just keep executing this broken script, stealing bandwidth, and/or slowing down the CPU... basicly just piss you off until you close me!

So maybe I am missing something... is there another command, like maybe SUPER STOP???  Of course there are many other browsers to choose from (thank God), but the question remains, if STOP doesn't work, is there something else besides KILL (close browser)

Edit
It is like the Energizer Bunny!!  It keeps going and going... nothing outlasts the retard!

In older versions of IE, the "stop" button used to actually stop the browser... ahhh... the good old days, when you could tell a computer what you wanted it to do, and it would actually do it. ;)
