Ah, that's very nice.  I wonder if Al Jackson, president of the Clark County Commodore Computer Club (of Las Vegas) has finished converting his to a DX-64.

There is CBM engineer Dale Luck's SX-500 (Amiga 500 in a SX case) seen at the links on

and then there is Chris B.'s homebuilt SX-1200 (Amiga 1200 with A600 keyboard fitted into a SX) which I last saw at a Sacramento Amiga Computer Club meeting years ago.  I'm still waiting for him to send me photos of it.  :)

At Friday's C64 Club meeting in Vancouver, Washington, I was shown a sweet SX-64 with the JiffyDOS and device switches hidden in the second drive opening.  It even had a hidden switch to turn off the internal monitor!
At the end of the meeting, we opened up a boxed SX-64 (serial numbers matching box and machine) with all the original goods, styrofoam, and plastic bags inside.  It was very minty!

How was the video quality.  I have two Audiovox units I got for 26 and wired in.  Problem is it have some sever "horizontal line" issues.  I've tried it with both and it's the same.  It's a shame because it fits nicely, but I just can't make the leap as the CRT's picture is far superior. (I imagine it always will be).  The problem with the lines is it messes up the text.

I've not been able to find any with SVideo input too which sucks - I had to use composite.
