CBM-Command is an orthodox file manager for the 64, 128, Plus/4, VIC and PET.  You can download it at:

If any of you that bought an adapter from me and you want a different function key program, send me your EPROM and I’ll re-program it for you.
And later wrote:

I can setup any one of the function keys, F1 thru F8, SHIFT RUN/STOP or HELP.
It will not interfere with JiffyDOS.
Oooo, I'll have to send you the 2009 EPROMs for you to reprogram for the HELP key.

          Merry Christmas!

Hello megabit,

just read Roberts post in the Homestead mailing list. The offer did sound promising, but what I read here was even better :)
Thanks for this great job, I need to buy one now!

Will sent you details by PM.

Thanks,
Thomas Brestrich

Can we request programs to be included? I'd love to see my CBM-Command included. It's 27K long and just needs to be copied to $1301 and executed from there. Can this board handle that task?

I looked over the help file for CBM-Command and the utilities on the EPROM will do the same thing as CBM-Command.
The CD that comes with the adapter has a file that will help you add any program you
 want to the EPROM.

Hi Dan,

Are these still available for order?  If so, could I order one with the hotkey set for shift+run/stop and let me know how/when/where to make payment.

Cheers

Mark

I have noticed that the creator of KeyDOS is complaining about his program being included on my EPROM that that comes with the Megabit Adapter. He has never tried to contact me about this or I would have removed it then.
There is a company selling KeyDOS, so I will remove it from the EPROM.

I didn't know that.  What company is selling KeyDOS?

I am curious too about this, originally was from Antigrav Toolkit, but IIRC there was (still is?) a German based company too...

Oh, that's Randy Winchester's old KeyDOS site.  Several years ago when I inquired, he told me that he was no longer manufacturing KeyDOS.  I don't know if he has started production again.  The only way to find out for sure is to send him a message.

Hello Dan,
I got mine today!  ;D

I want to say thanks and let everyone know how awesome this thing is and how well you do handeling it.

Dan told he would ship it Wednesday and I got it today. Came with a CD, instructions, and the board.
Took me 20 minutes to install completely and it came right up!

If you have a 128 or 128D, this is a MUST have.
I got some pics and will do a review on my C= webpage in a couple of days.

Thanks again!
Dan

Thank you Dan for putting the information on your Website. It looks very good.

You might also post for download the “Do it yourself.pdf “ file that’s on the CD.

It has the schematics for the internal ROM adapter and the C64 cartridge.

That is a nice webpage.  I see that your Megabit 128 ROM Adapter pops up with a slightly different list of programs than my older version of the adapter.

"Performance Peripherals Europe, Holzweg 12, D-53332 Bornheim, Germany" does not exists anymore. Their website http://www.ppeurope.de/ is now used by a obscure twitter add.
