yes we are 120v here. I tried to turn on monitor with out power. I had forgot to plug the monitor into the wall

Monitor arrived today in an orginal box!!!! It is in almost mint condition Very clean condition. woot!
Plugged in computer cables and powered up monitor no picture. Pushed power button still no picture
Silly me try plugging it into the wall. Works great now. It seem the 1084 monitors need 120v to Work

Hi!
I used HD-TOOLS128 to change device number of my CMD-HD... of course I followed instructions to set CMD-HD into configuration mode...
Never succesfull - always appears message "HD IS NOT IN CONFIGURATION MODE"
I have CMD-HD connected by parallel RL Cable, attached one CDRW and one DVDR + 4GB external HDD...
Know anybody how to change device number of CMD-HD by other way or where I do the mistake?
My CMD-HD has devnr #9 and I want to change it to devnr #13...

You do not say if you have a ramlink connected with the parallel hook up cable. If you do you need to turn off the parallel access using @P0 then run the hd configure program. to turn it on again @p1 or just reset computer. page 2.7 in the ram link manual under hd parallel hook up. Rather hard to find in manuals because it is not in the hard drive manual Hershey

I have commander 128 (after a few years I thought i would try it out)
The 64 verison worked fine on my 100meg hd.
I upgraded to 4g drive and the add drive program does not add the cd-rom drive (it knows it is there)
the 100meg drives partition was maxed out, The 4g drive is not even close. Does it have to be fully partitioned for the adddrive progran to ad the cd-rom?

Rename the file to dragonfirebbs (one word). The blank between dragonfire and bbs is causing the RA DOS to think that the filename you want to run is dragonfire and that bbs is a command line argument to dragonfire. Shame on you for not figuring this out, as the behavior of the RA command line is clearly explained in the documentation. 
Ok i read the manual over and over and the only thing I can find is invoke (feature)Syntax: [lu:][user:]filenameAny legal filename typed beginning in the first column of the screen will cause the system to attempt to load and execute that file. The INVOKE feature works for both BASIC and machine language programs. Simply type the program's name, followed by a carriage return. am I missing somthing - a full manual maybe.

I Just installed the ra this weekend. It is working great. very fast. little ticked with the manuals for the fact it mentioned that you could boot into 128 mode but did not state how it was done. So after many time going over manuals and online search I gave up and went to the configure software. Very power software. After playing around in there (carefull not to change anything that I could not remember what it was before) found lots of features and the c128 mode boot. now I moved dragonfire bbs software to it (went well except rel file, had to use a rel file copier)
Now to run the bbs software - did not load with dragonfire bbs had to use load"dragonfire bbs",8 and was loaded before I could remove my hand from keyboard.

when I exited ml monitor the ra display bar came up under the load dragonfire prompt.
removed the ? at the end of the load command and the bbs loaded and ran fine.
this well cause a problem because this software loads in stand alone modules moving back in forth I would have to be there to run the mods and main bbs prg. if the bbs loads a prg that I wrote it will not load it but will return back to the bbs after I load it (I use load"dragonfire ?.?",dv:run).
my question is is the ra bar interfering with the direct mode input of commands if so how do I turn off display bar with out turing of ra

Now I know the code works in other vice systems.
Tried the code on my desktop and got the same responce, also tried wte's code and it stopped too, at the end of prg no ready prompt. Which leaves me wondering what setting in vice I have to Change?
I just ran the code in vice c64 and it worked correctly. Now I really have to check setting in vice 128

This program hangs at line 70 in winvice c128, except if you turn on tron , then it works or if you put in a print d command in side loop (line 70)

Hi, all, I was just wondering if anybody knew the status of TPUG? I sent an order in for their store a week ago and have not heard back. I am wondering if anyone is still answering the e-mail.
I sent in my membership and orderd their new tpug dvd. Which arrived last week. but it had a flaw on the disk, They are sending me a new one.

Years ago I had modified the cpm 3.0 boot disk to handle a 1581 drive. It worked great. It also booted cpm. The only problem was you had to format the disks in 128 mode with a utility (1581 utility disk, I think). For cpm format program did not support 1581 format. Over time I have misplaced the information (I think it was in a magazine) I may still have the disk. If I Did not use it for another purpose.

Looking for c64 BBS software called The Stock Exchange(TSE). It is a BBS with a message base and Stock Market built right in to the main bbs code so stock prices are updated at all times not just when the game loads.
