Herdware / Trouble installing stereo SID
« on: December 22, 2012, 07:59 AM »
I built a stereo sid interface from Digital Audio Concepts but experiencing problems:

Assuming that the 128 is in fully working order, when I place the adapter with only one sid (first or second channel) the sound is clear  but when install both sids there is a very loud background hum from both speakers and the sound is bad; if i remove one of either sid the sound is perfect with no background hum .

The adapter works flawlessy in a c64 breadbin.

What you think about? thanks for help!

Herdware / EXOS kernal under 64 mode
« on: December 22, 2012, 07:50 AM »
I'm trying to burn an eprom for EXDOS under 64 mode but experiencing problems. EXOS is for C64 breadbin, the rom is 8k, while 128 requires 16k rom like 64c.
I merged a 16k rom with basic rom 901226-01 in the first block and exos in the 2nd block, and burnt a 27128 eprom with it.
The result is the text

M-R

in the up left corner on the screen, and the system freeze.
I wrong anything but don't know what.
Anybody can help me? thanks ;)

Herdware / Re: Super Chip or what?
« on: April 25, 2011, 04:16 AM »
Or maybe (just maybe) you've heard of Mr. Megabits C128 Function ROM? It was made by him but very few were created. You can read about it in this thread: http://www.commodore128.org/index.php?topic=2645.0

Yes, it's Megabits Function ROM. Anyone can help me with a schematic or how to build one? I noticed that it's out of stock now. I can burn eproms if you need...

Hi guys,
I heard about a super-eprom for the commodore 128 that contains a lot of software, maybe 1Mb or 2Mb eprom but unable to find more info, schematic, dump or other.
Can you help me in any way?
Thanks ;)
