Autoboot Manager.zip
This is an update of Victor Singleton's widely used program that combined all of the various C128 autobooting utilities that were floating around.
This version is only significantly different in two ways:

1. The instructions are included in the BASIC program, (not a separate file).
2. It works with the 1581 disk drive. The older version would only work with the 1541 & 1571 disk drives.

It also has the added the ability to use the program with a device number other than #8.

AUTOBOOT.SFX
Another autoboot maker

autobt128.prg
Autoboot 128

BOOTMAKE.PRG
Creates an auto boot disk

browser.zip
"Browser" was and is primarily intended for use with CMD devices such as Ramlink or hard drives. It works on a 'tree' type structure starting with the drive selection, followed by partition selection, followed by directorys and then subdirectorys. Each 'level' being selected by using the cursor keys and return.  You can go back one 'level' at a time by pressing the backarrow key. At the top level (drive selection) pressing this key will exit the program. An alternate exit is to press the backarrow key from the options menu. This will leave the currently selected partition/directory 'active' on exit and is often a quicker
and more desirable way to exit. (Aren't you glad you read this now?)

C64_PC_COPIER.PRG
C64 <--> PC COPIER V1.0

cd_rom.tar.gz
The gnuzipped version of the twosided CD-ROM utility for the C128. Use a SCSI CD-ROM with your C128 and a CMD Harddrive.

CMD Tree 2.02.zip
This program displays or prints a partition and directory tree for any CMD disk drive. Gives partition sizes, the directories or subpartitions, (1581
type), in those partitions, and the blocks free. This is especially useful on the fixed type drives, (HD and RL/RD), but is handy for keeping several
HD or ED disks organized for your FD-2000 or FD-4000. Just LOAD and RUN this on your C128. You don't need any more instructions since the program
is not complicated. All you need to know is what device number your CMD type drive is that you want the partition tree printout for.

This program is compiled for speed. The source code, (before compiling
the BASIC code), is CMDTREE2.02.BAS.

CROSSLINK21B.SFX
Checks for scarmbled & cross-linked directory entries

d128it1b.prg
D128it is a simple program for the c128 to convert from .D64 files (emulator disk images) to a 1541 disk or vice versa. It's slow but it works! I may attempt to add some turbo routines to it in the future.

D64_copy_v1_128.prg

DER_HEXER_V1_4AL.PRG
Track & sector editor

device changer.zip
A quick down and dirty little program for changing device numbers for your disk drives. Just load it and run it and follow the onscreen prompts.

Directory 128.zip
Directory 128 reads the directory of your disk and displays it on your screen as a MENU allowing you to simply type a menu number to LOAD and RUN the program or, (in the case of sequential files), type it to the screen or printer. It works in either 40 or 80 column mode. This is a good program to place on disks that will be used by people that are unfamiliar with the directory and load commands as it simplifies the process.

Directory Magic.zip
This is a neat little directory manipulator program that will run in either C64 or C128 mode. It will only work on 1541 and I believe 1571 disk drives. It will show you every file on your disk, even deleted files, restore the deleted files as long as the disk hasn't been written to since the files were deleted, alphabetize your disk if you want it that way, and so on. It is a short file, only 20 blocks, so download it today.

dirlist.zip
This program lists the directory of a disk. This will list almost all disks with a NO-LIST directory. Instructions included.

DIRSQUEZ.PRG
Compress & sort directory entries

Disk Doctor 128 V2.zip
The Disk Doctor is a full-featured disk track and sector editor for the C128 that is very easy to use but extremely powerful. In addition to the standard editing commands it also includes options to hunt the disk or selected files for text, follow file chains and send disk commands.

Version 2.0 now includes and option to output the sector selected to your printer and a few minor bugs have been squashed. The most significant upgrade is that this version now fully supports the 1581 disk drive. Directory and BAM information including sub-directories are displayed in the same, informative manner that you are accustomed to for the 1541 and 1571 disk drives.

Disk menu 128.zip
The 128 version will adjust itself automatically according to the current activescreen, 40 or 80 columns.  But the greatest advantage is that it can load and run, (but not boot), 64 mode programs.

Please read the "readme.1st" file for further details.

Disk Whiz 1.1.zip
Disk Whiz is an easy-to-use disk housekeeping/menu system for the C128 that performs operations on a single file or group of files. Files are displayed in a scrolling window on the 80-column screen. Commands available include run, type, print, copy, (usable with one OR multiple drives), rename, scratch, and witch sub-directories, (on 1581 drives).

MONOCHROME USERS: Here is a quick fix for you to finally be able to use this program. If you change the COLOR statements in lines 21 and 165 to read "COLOR6,1" instead of "COLOR6,16" your display will now show up on your monitor.

disk-org-sys.zip
This is a Disk Organizational system that takes advantage of two very good shareware programs, a disk cataloger and a general purpose data base:

                Super A.D.D. 128  & Philemaster v1.7

These programs have been modified to provide a total solution to diskette management and file retrieval.  This file is a C128 self-dissolving file. Just DLOAD and run.  If you use in 40 column mode, the header intro will appear correct, however, the unpacking will run MUCH faster in 80 column mode.

DISKNOSE.PRG
DISKNOSER 128 V1.5 by Ed Parry

dts128.zip
DTS 128 is a menu driven disk database.  Compatible with the 1541, 1571 and 1581 disk drives. Please read the "readme.1st" file for further documentation.

dtsfix.zip
This file is a patch for the program, 'DTS 128.SDA'.

This patch fixes the problem DTS had with my Gemini 10x. DTS sends the printer shifted spaces and underlines which are printed larger than regular characters, disaligning the printed columns. This patch is wedged through the Kernal BSOUT vector at $326. When BSOUT is called to send a character, this program takes over and converts problem characters into spaces, then returns control to the normal BSOUT routine. This method of fix MIGHT have side effects. Since it doesn't check where the character is going, it may convert a character intended for the disk drive, corrupting the file. BUT through all my testing this has NOT happened to me. If someone would like to fix the routine to avoid the possibility, just be sure the entire ML portion fits from $1BC8 to $1BFF. This version has a minor bug. The indexes for the for next loop are wrong. You'll need to change this so that all the data items are read. Sorry.

ezldr2-8.zip
EZ Loader is a menu system designed to help you access your most used programs by a single menu from any disk drive, as long as the program is on the drive requested. Please read the "readme.1st" file for further details.

keydos.zip
KeyDos is a utility by Randy Winchester which redefines your function keys to make file access useful. Included is a key to redefine your current disk drive to any unit on your system; all subsequent disk commands will default to that drive. Keys are defined so that it is easy to load files from a directory listing; hit the key to get the directory, move the cursor up to the line of the directory, and hit the load file, (etc.), key; no need to get rid of the extraneous characters on the line, it's all taken care of. Finally, there are keys to run a 64 program from 128 mode, and a key to type a seq file to the screen. Supports 1541, 1571, and 1581 drives, as well as RamDOS and the Quick Brown Box. Included is a utility for a key to enter 1581 subdirectories. See also the KeyDOS utility, in this same library. KeyDOS is released into the public domain and documentation in seq file format is included.

KeyDOS Utils 2.zip
The KeyDOS utility is a disk management utility written by Randy Windhester, designed for use with KeyDOS. From a listing of the directory, you select one or more files, and then perform operations on the selected files, including scratch, rename, etc. You can also copy the selected files, with one drive or between any two drives on the system. During a copy you can, (if you choose), do ASCII/PETSCII, (or vice versa), translation. The utility also lets you type seq files to the screen, or print seq files. Supports the 1541, 1571, and 1581 drives, as well as Commodore's RAMDOS. Also included is a KeyDOS utility to help you easily partition 1581 disks. KeyDOS utilities are released into the public domain and documentation is included in seq file format.

rel-edit.zip
Relative files can be hard to set up, especially if your program is only used to read data or must read and write to records in a specific format. This program allows direct access to the data in relative files for reading and editing. It should support 1541, 1571, 1581, and CMD Hard Drives.

NOTES:
      1. The Menu lists all control keys for editing. The entry
"Standard keys" means that the standard letters, numbers,
and puncuation keys will be inserted directly into the
current record data. To enter ASCII data, use the INST key.

      2. The drive error light will flash under certain conditions
due to a "Record Not Found", (Error 50). The error should
clear after the next record is selected.

rel-read.zip
This program will let you read REL files. You have a choice of reading all or just one of the records in a RELative file. The program will read all of the records until you get an Error 50 - Out of records.

svt482a.zip
This is the July 1st, 1992 release of THE SERVANT v4.82 by Alf Jonassen of Norway. If you don't know it by now, this is one of the best shareware disk/file utilities available. This one does just about anything that any commerical utility does, plus lots more. This .SFX and the accompaning three are a must have for your collection. This program works either from RAM or ROM, (either inside your C128 or the expansion port).

ultracat.zip
Several new features have been added to this program, which allows you to file and organize the files in your disk library. This version uses 10 separate catalogs to store file names. Each catalog can contain up to 1000 filenames on up to 100 disks. The total number of filenames is limited by disk space, about 7500 on a double sided disk. The catalogs can be given titles by the user, (Games, Utilities, etc.), and simple editing functions allow you to delete filenames, combine and copy catalogs, etc. Other additions include menu functions for changing the default screen and text colors, sorting on any of three fields, (filename, disk name, and file type), and extensive help screens that provide documentation throughout. As in version 1.0, you have access to
necessary DOS commands, including one to change disk names. It is very user-friendly, using pull-down menus and dialogue boxes, (much improved over version 1.0).
